I have been tagged. Ling’s fault.

1. Do you have secrets?
I have secrets. Everybody has secrets, little things you don’t want anyone to know. I don’t keep many from my loved ones, but some things are just better untold. “I used your toothbrush to clean the bathroom grout.” per instance… Would you really want to know?

2. Would you fall in love with a boy younger than you?
It’s not the age that represents an obstacle, it’s the mentality. Age itself is completely irrelevant. Then again, me being attracted to a 15 y/o is highly unlikely, so is me being attracted to someone over 30, that is not Johnny Depp - a cliche says there is an exception to every rule, after all. :)

3. Do you enjoy going to school?
No, not really. As far as I can remember, the only things I liked attending were Ethics and Society in Primary School and Philosophy in High School. I do find other subjects interesting, I just didn’t like being there, learning is a solitary process for me. I never was any good with structured routine.

4. What would you do with a billion dollars?
Exchange them for a more solid currency. Build a reasonably sized house someplace quiet, where there are lots of trees, have a big library and get a sailboat for my trailer. :p

5. Will you fall in love with your best friend?
That is an oddly phrased question. As Ling stated in her answer, my lover IS my best friend.

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
Would you seriously want to be in a relationship where it’s either one or the other?

7. List out your 10 favourite songs

1) Minnie The Moocher (Cab Calloway)
2) The Heart Collector (Nevermore)
3) Moon River (Audrey Hepburn)
4) Daydream Believer (The Monkees)
5) Code Monkey (Johnathan Coulton)
6) Fly (Blind Guardian)
7) I’ve Got A Brand New Pair Of Roller Skates (Melanie Safka)
8) Mr. Pinstripe Suit (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy)
9) Pink (Aerosmith)
10) Brezabor (Matjaz Romih)

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Get over it.

9. Is there anything that has made you extremely happy?
Plenty of things. The first time I found out BG are coming to Slovenia, first real kiss, doing well in something, reading Dorian Gray, passing graduation and getting free of High School, getting into college, getting a job, moving out…

10. What makes you angry?
I don’t get angry often… Very annoyed, yes. I hadn’t gotten really angry in a few years and then a few months ago, I had a full blown furious fit in the middle of a main street in Ljubljana, middle of the night too. And as I’ve discovered later, it was all just a misunderstanding. Kinda puts things in perspective.

11. How would you see yourself in 10 years time?
I passed college, got a cool job working on development of the most kick-ass AI known to man. :) Oh, and I have Erwin at home, to give me a few pointers. :)

12. Who is currently the most important people to you?
Is and plural… Well, my very own most important people… The previously mentioned trailer (:p), my friends, most of which I don’t see often enough, family…

13. What is being regarded as the most important thing in your life?
I don’t know actually, currently it’s all a bit blurry. Trying to figure out my priorities.

14. Would you rather be single and rich or married but poor?
Dunno, the one that would make me happy. Single doesn’t mean miserable and married doesn’t mean bliss. How about the middle ground?

15. What is your favourite colour?
Green, yellow, purple

16. Would you give all in a relationship?
Why bother being in one otherwise?

17. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, and both of them do the same, who would you pick?
I don’t think you can be in love with two people simultaneously. If I was, neither.

18. Would you forgive and forget no matter how horrible a thing the someone has done?
No.

19. What do you want to tell the someone you like?
THE someone I like? Dude, your turn to wash the dishes. :p

I don’t post much lately, as you might have noticed. It’s a side-effect of being computer-less. Most of my writing is put on hold. However at work, I have plenty of time to e-mail around and surf through reddit.com… Things that don’t need much thinking or concentrating.

Today I was innocently clicking through reddit, avoiding NSFW titles and I stumbled upon an amusing picture. The cover of Entertainment Weekly features two of the actors casted for the new Star Trek film. The roles of Capitan Kirk and Mr. Spock… They’re both well chosen, though Spock threw me off my chair. First I thought it was just someone playing with Photoshop, but as it turns out, Zachary Quinto really is the new Spock.

Some of you may have recognised him. Sylar. The evil has now reached the final frontier.

Today, the saga that is Rebelde’s visit in Slovenia is coming to an end… Finally. My first stumble upon the hysteria was from a city bus. I saw a large crowd of teen and tween girls in front of the building of Hotel Lev… Curiously, I observed… What on earth was going on there? o.0 About a minute later it struck me.

From then on, it didn’t stop. Little kids in Rebelde t-shirts, early teen girls with “RBD” magic-markered on their skin, cleavage, forehead (!)… Lots of screaming, lots of media coverage, lots of everything. Every generation needs their miracle band, the band that all the little kids listen to, the band that is THE COOLEST!!!111! (one, one, eleven, exclamation mark)… When I was their age, it was Kelly Family. Remember them?

I have only a vague recollection… I missed out on the magic, wasn’t a fan. Plavi orkestar did it for me. :) When all the 9 year-olds were swooning for Paddy, I rocked out to Ako su to samo bile laži… Wasn’t I cool? :p

The last few weeks have been wonderful. :) There’s something liberating in doing what you love for a change.

I’ve been drawing, sewing, thinking, reading, walking, loving… I made a pinhole camera out of a matchbox! Following these instructions, I think it actually turned out pretty well. Judging from the one or two pictures that kinda have potential of being decent…

I just got the film developed, not the pictures, everything’s over exposed, but it besides that, it seems to be working. My darling and I went to Fotoantika a few weeks ago and got an old light meter, hopefully it only needs new batteries and the exposure problem will be gone. Banished! (Banned?)

Also, on a similar note, we went to Foto Ex Tempore in Kras. It was really fun, I’d show off with a picture or two, but I was analogue for the day. (I prefer film for some reason.) I did miss a display thingie though, the rotate-able kind, so I can take pictures at weird angles. Also, to see if I actually got any right. Motion blur loves me, I’m told. Keep your fingers crossed!

I didn’t have much time, up to a few days ago, to write a decent blog post. However, when I got the time, Mr. Computer died on me. It made me reconsider the wisdom in naming it 42. It was an attempt to break the pattern of the last 4 (I think it was 4) Marvins dying after something around a year… You know, the answer to life, the universe and everything ought to be eternal… Guess not. And it died when I was close to finishing my contribution to the ongoing blog meme, draw yourself as a teenager.

I drew myself as a 16 y/o, as I am still a teenager, for a few more months anyway. Despite the lack of vectors in Photoshop (which just makes everything so… pixel looking -.-) I did a pretty good job. Honest! I’ll post eventually.

On another note, I cut my hair. Got the cutest and nicest comparison too, I was told I look like Dust Puppy. *hearts* It’s a character in the UserFriendly.org comics, I love the little guy. The hair now points in every direction at a 90 degree angle from my head. Not much I can do about it, going from mid chest to 2cm is quite a jump, I’m guessing they want to know what it’s like to point up for a change. I like it though. :) Like I said, Dust Puppy. :)
